Trinity Presbyterian Church of McKinney’s music ministry is a thriving ministry. We house 5 different ensembles with multi-generational participants. Along with these 5 ensembles, we incorporate many local guest musicians to create transformative worship. Furthermore, we are the rehearsal and performance space for the McKinney Philharmonic Orchestra, the Greater North Texas Youth Orchestra and many musical recitals.
Over the years, we have been privileged to have a Mason and Hamlin piano in our Great Hall. Unfortunately, due to use, wear and tear and age, it is time for a replacement. Every element of our music program to one degree or another revolves around the piano. For several weeks, we’ve had the opportunity to have a new-to-us Mason and Hamlin 7’ grand piano on loan and we have decided to acquire this instrument and we need your help.
“Known for their immense power, brilliant tonal characteristics, and extraordinary clarity, the Mason & Hamlin pianos of today are handcrafted with precision and care—preserving and continuing a legacy of tradition. In 1996, two brothers—Gary and Kirk Burgett—acquired Mason & Hamlin Piano Co., located in the heart of Haverhill, Massachusetts. Impressed with the rich history of quality pianos, the Burgett brothers committed to rebuilding and restoring the company, while also incorporating cutting-edge techniques in order to fashion the world’s finest handcrafted pianos. A modern Mason & Hamlin piano is built with the original, hand-crafted designs and quality of its founders, while integrating the innovation and advancements of the twenty-first century.” – masonhamlin.com
Did you know that our previous Mason and Hamlin was 101 years old? This forecasts the longevity of this new piano. This is a once-in-a-lifetime update to our Music Ministry. Please prayerfully consider donating to our thriving music ministry.
Thank you,
